Collaborative Initiative to End Human TraffickinG

DESCRIPTION: Human trafficking is a form of modern day slavery that affects young children, teenagers, women, and men. Victims are trafficked across international borders worldwide and are subjected to force, fraud, and coercion for the purpose of forced labor or sexual exploitation.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Volunteers work with the Collaborative Initiative to End Human Trafficking, a group involved in networking with local and national organizations, researching and learning more about the issue, promoting legislation against human trafficking, and sponsoring monthly programs and events to raise awareness.
