DESCRIPTION: Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center assists immigrant children from many countries who are being held in detention facilities.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Work directly with children in detention centers as well as working in the FIAC office with children who have been abused or neglected, to help them get immigration status.  Volunteers will be trained in advocacy and paralegal skills, tutoring and teaching English to children.
