PROGRAM INFORMATION
Length of program varies depending on the site and work availability. Volunteers will be assisted in choosing their program with the help of the director of the volunteer program. Some of the time frames could be:

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Compensation varies, but in general for those who are volunteering for a longer period of time and in different geographical areas, there will be a small personal stipend and the community will provide room and board. Volunteers will live in community but the size of the community varies by site and by year. They will live in an HM house or inexpensive housing will be provided. An effort will be made to have several volunteers per site at the same time, but this depends on number of volunteers and length of time commitment. Transportation to and from the site will be provided to long-term volunteers.
Health insurance is provided for all year-long volunteers, domestic and international. Those volunteering for shorter periods of time are asked to provide their own health insurance.
